Neighbors Daughter


I have been watching my neighbors daughter everyday, all day for him. Robert is an officer in the Army and goes to the Defense Language School in Monterey and he "has" his girl Reece for a month. I found out that his 8 year old sits at home, from 7 am till 4:30, by herself!! I couldn't believe it, so I asked if she wanted to go to the beach with us a couple of times. Now, she comes over 2 days at 5:00 AM and three days at 7 till about 5 pm, most days. She is an only child, and let's just say I CAN TELL. I took her to the Aquarium on Tuesday and she left me twice, I couldn't find her for 20 minutes!! I was freaking out! There were 3 tour buses visiting that day, -a security guard found her crying far away from where we last were!! Shhhesh! My goal is to teach her a lot of things and do some needed "summer school" while shes here. Wish me LUCK

Oh Hilary--you're such a good mom--even to kids who aren't your own! Can I send Jonah down to stay and do summer school too?
