Well, the west coast has the sunshine...

To steal a line from the beach boys- I'd have to say that Monterey is workin on that CA suntan! Brennen and I love to go swimming, running and just play outside! I've been missing not teaching swim lessons this summer, all those years teaching other kids how to swim-- it's time to teach my own. Brennen LOVES the water-- a lil' too much sometimes it scares me. He has been swimming since he was one month old and has really progressed fast. Now, almost 16 months old, he can blow bubbles, put his face in, go under & jump in (with assistance), back float, and do big kickers. He loves to practice all these thing in the bathtub too, it makes a nice puddle on the floor. We go swimming at our gym and a local hotel pool that is open to visitors. We both love to be outside and get some California sun- mixed with some Monterey wind. Here is Brennen with our awesome friend Tasha and mom (and me and Bri). Maybe next time we will get some real action shots!
